Story behind the kitchen
Our passionate chef - Tracy Wong, is born and raised in Hong Kong until she is 16, then moved to Australia to continue her studies. Tracy was living in Perth, Western Australia, working as a counsellor on a 9-5, Monday to Friday office worker after she graduated at University. Saturday and Sunday were used for her hobby of creating desserts.
One day, a sudden brainwave struck and a decision was made to step out of her comfort zone to pursue her “Sweet dreams” of being a Pastry chef.
Tracy applied for a working holiday visa to start a three year adventure to London and Paris. This is where she started gaining professional fine dining experience in a five star hotel and restaurants. Soon after that, she realised that dessert is where she would like to focus.
T.Sweetmap is a relatively newly established business, but a combined experience of over 10 years in the food industry are used in every single piece of creation, which isn’t really just a “piece of cake.
